Tracking reopening in Travel: As Vaccine rollout begins to accelerate in the coming months our focus will zoom (no pun intended) to sectors such as travel that have been hardest hit by the COVID pandemic. Our consumer email intelligence has been capturing hotel and other forms of booking confirmation email volumes such as Expedia (EXPE) hotels.com, Booking (BKNG) booking.com for nearly 5 years now. These provides a robust intra-quarter view of real time demand. To start 2021, despite hope of accelerating vaccinations and heightened offers and discounts for late 2021 travel, bookings have not stabilized.
